Studio LACO was founded by Laura Cummings Amann, a real estate professional with over 25 years of experience across property management, development, sales, and design. After decades of helping clients buy and sell homes, Laura envisioned something more: a business that would blend her editorial eye for design, strategic real estate expertise, and project management skills into one seamless service.

The name “Studio LACO” is layered in meaning—drawing from Laura’s roots in Louisiana (LA) and her current home in Colorado (CO), while also nodding to the creative energy of a “studio” as a place where hard work and innovation happen. With this foundation, she approached Creative Allure Design for a brand and website that would position Studio LACO as prestigious yet approachable, appealing to affluent clients seeking design, strategy, and investment guidance.

I guided Laura through a collaborative discovery process that surfaced her values and vision. Her target audience—affluent professionals in transition (downsizing, renovating, acquiring second homes, or managing investment properties)—called for a brand identity that felt stylish, knowledgeable, and trustworthy, without ever tipping into trendiness or corporate sterility

From her questionnaire, it was clear Laura preferred:

  • Sans serif and hybrid typography for clarity and timelessness.

  • Muted earth tones with black, white, and gray for versatility across digital and print.

  • A letter-based logo (no icons or line art) that felt original, sophisticated, and impossible to recreate in Canva.

With those guardrails, we designed a clean, elevated identity system and carried it seamlessly into the Squarespace website design. The site was structured for clarity, calm, and usability, allowing Studio LACO’s offerings to shine while providing Laura with a platform that can grow with her brand.

THE OUTCOME

Studio LACO communicates confidence, sophistication, and approachability. The lettermark logo establishes instant recognition while reflecting Laura’s professional depth. The color palette—anchored in earth tones and neutrals—projects calm authority, while the typography system reinforces clarity and style.

The Squarespace website (studiolaco.com) brings it all to life: a modern, responsive platform that is both visually polished and easy for Laura to maintain. Designed with high-end visuals, intuitive navigation, and SEO in mind, the site positions Studio LACO to reach clients in Denver and beyond, reflecting Laura’s borderless approach to real estate and design strategy.

Together, the new brand and website create a foundation for Studio LACO to grow its influence, attract discerning clients, and deliver an experience that feels both prestigious and personal.
